  1. Book Suggestion: Marian Keyes either Sushi for Beginners or Angels / Actually all her books are so great! Real easy reads, makes you laugh out loud! Feel good books!

  2. Two books that I really recommend are: The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson and Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance by Angela Duckworth. Both are about self improvement, full of knowledge and inspiring quotes! πŸ™‚

  3. I really hope you continue to make regular videos, I’m always so excited to see an upload from you pop up in my subscription! Thank you for all the amazing content πŸ™‚

  4. I love your shape of eyebrows ! haha its so hard to deal with asian eyebrows, I dont have natural shape like yours without makeup on. Please show us how to on your next make up video if it’s coming up again ! your video always motivate me and a lot of my friends ! xx

  5. omg aimee your skin look so good πŸ˜±βœ¨πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ ! thank you so much for the video πŸ’› i learn so much with you and see many new stuff 😬😘 bisou from πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

  6. Whenever I have hives, I immediately use Aztec Indian healing clay. It’s all natural + dirt cheap + SHRINKS the bumps quickly (the clay PULLS out toxins) . I swear by it

  7. I have a horror story on eye lash extensions! Literally three days before my WEDDING i decided to get eyelash extensions and i found out i was allergic to the glue!! The next day i couldnt open my eyes because they were crusted shut and i had swollen eyes! It was a big mistake πŸ™ i removed all the lashes and sadly my real lashes fell off too.. three months later my lashes are slowly growing back to normal but i dont recommend it if you have sensitive eyes! πŸ™‚ πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

  8. I really enjoy this chilled and chatty videos, you always manage to be informative in the simpliest things πŸ™‚ Anyways, the garnier micellar water is awesome, I tired the bioderma too and was a bit disappointed because it wasn’t much different from the garnier one, I mean it WAS, but in a way that did not justify the extra 20$ so I usually go for that too. I’d recommend also the 2-1 express makeup remover or the Simply Essential 2-1 soothing makeup remover (this one is more gentle and created for extra sensistive skin types), both from garnier, they’re super good. As for books, what genre do you fancy the most? I’ll go for something that’s not too specific:
Chess Story by Stefan Zweig (this was recommended to me and at first I was like am I really reading a story about chess? and then OMG I LOVE THIS so…)
Le silence de la mer (the silence of the sea) by Vercors; this one is about the power of communication and it’s just so interesting because of the setting and the point of view. I’m not sure about the english title so I put the original here, I know it was made into a movie in 2004 although I haven’t seen it.
The Situation Is Hopeless But Not Serious (The Pursuit of Unhappiness) by Paul Watzlawick
A Cat, A Man, and Two Women by Junichiro Tanizaki (this was so much fun)
City of thieves by David Benioff (THIS!)
Ok I’m going to stop here I’m sorry if this was too much! Everthing is under 100 pages, they are books (or rather short stories) I used to read on the train, well written and enjoyable. They’re so short I usually looked for free pdfs. The last one is the only novel on the list but it’s so easy to read I do recommend it. If you happen to read one of them I hope you won’t feel like you wasted your time!
    Have a nice week πŸ™‚

    PS: your skin is goals

  9. I strongly recommend “What Dreams May Come” by Richard Matheson. It changed my life, it’s beautiful and truly amazing story. Far more better than the movie.

  10. OMG, you are fuckin’ hilarious. I love how you are like, “I don’t know how long..however long Dirty Dancing is.” with the straightest face…only to sing, “you’re the one that I want” which is Grease☺☺☺

  11. Thanks a lot for the recommendations! We will definitely have a look into these products, because your skin is so good and we believe in these products πŸ™‚

  12. HOME TOUR, please!!β™₯β™₯ Wait..that thumbs up–is your thumb double-jointed?? What do you use during the day that gives you that incredible glow!! Doesn’t look greasy but just glowing skin!!?β™₯

  13. “It says leave it on for 10 minutes, but I leave it on for 30 minutes”
Aimee goes hard af, don’t @ her πŸ˜€πŸ’―

  14. I’m looking for a brand of bras that has unlined bras for B-C cups. I’m tired of the same old Victoria’s secret stuff. Could anyone recommend a brand to check out?

  15. aimee the fast forwarding sound is so scary lol, it sounds like something out of paranormal activity. great video though, I love seeing other’s skincare products.

  16. I remember you talking about some books you planned on reading, can’t remember where (IG story?) but would LOVE to have a video on books you recommend or plan to read – whatever the category might be! Or perhaps a blogpost/IG post would be enough. Feel so inspired by you and would love to read more books as well. Lots of love from Sweden <3

  17. I really liked how this was a real time skin care routine. I loved how informative and detailed you were with each product and it was helpful seeing the product name listed on the screen. Really enjoying all of your videos! lots of love

  18. I suggest reading “the interpretation of dreams” by Sigmund Freud! It’s super interesting and I found that it really helped me understand myself and it lead me to what I wanted.
Another really interesting book is ” the social determinants of health” (it was published by oxford university). It’s a really eye opening book that really helps you understand the world a little bit better! πŸ’•πŸ’•

  19. Does the avene cream break you out, sometimes because my skin is dry and sensitive, certain creams make me break out. What other products from avene do you recommend? I’ve been kinda tempted to buy from them but the bioderma creams seems to work as well. Lol so undecided.

  20. Love you Ami~ you have really nice and healthy skin! How old are you exactly? haha If you don’t want, don’t have to answer. and I recommend you this book called “when breath becomes air” that I recently read. You will find lots of motivation and appreciation on living your life and spending every single moments. Thanks for sharing us your beauty tips! xx

  21. Omg oBsessed with your vlogs!!!! They’re so much fun to watch and you are amazing! How do you function with such little sleep?! #goals

  22. Aimee, will your face be really greasy after you apply all of the product? Also, so you shower with makeup first and then do all the skin care procedure after? Love your video! Share more like this with us! Xx.

  23. Really want to try SK II . You’re face been glowing majorly the whole time. You don’t need any makeup gurl❀️ BTW I think this is the only blog where you haven’t eaten anything 😹
Do a vlog with jacopo soon. ❀️

  24. Have you noticed a difference with the castor oil? Because I did it both on my eyelashes and brows for months! And nothing! At least not any real difference. But then a hairstylist told me to apply vitamin E (you cut the capsule open and apply the oil, although it’s very thick and sticky). I tried that for three days, and BAM! I mean, only a small difference, but still. Anyway I had to stop because I told my dermatologist and she told me that vitamin E causes acne. So now I’m on hold…πŸ˜”
BOOK RECOMMENDATION: The Kite Runner. Excellent book, I just read it last month but I think it’s one of my favorites so far.

  25. I’m completely in love with your skin. You look perfect even before your routine, but asian skin is really different to Latin skin. In any case, I would love to try some product tried in this video. They look amazing! Please make more beauty videos!

  26. Setting the Table by Danny Meyer is really good — it’s about the hospitality business, but it also speaks on the entrepreneurial spirit. Think you’ll really relate to that <3 πŸ™‚

  27. 아미씨!!! I used to use the Micellar Water the way you are, and my dermatologist said don’t use it as a toner!! We have to wash it off. They carry skin drying ingredients and some oil as well that will prevent from absorbing water soluble good stuff from the next step!! Just splash water after using the Garnier. I use the Bioderma. hehehehe.
    LOVE your Vlogs! Thank you~

  28. You are so amazing, you are probably the most organized person i know(follow). You do soo much stuff like instagram, blog, youtube, interior design 😱 I’m truly inspired. πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’– love you Aimee

  29. I’m so over you after watching your Ethiopia trip vlog. You are just complaining the whole time while that trip was for charity and awareness. Unfollow.

  30. Meant to tell you the book that’s all the rage right now is “Little Fires Everywhere” by Celeste Ng. Reese Witherspoon bought the rights to make a movie. I’ve not read it but hear great things!

  31. the handmaid’s tale!! (if you haven’t read it yet) really, it’s my favourite book and changed my life kinda. and definitely check out the gwf podcast they’re so funny

  32. I’d love to know your go to lipstick shades and brands!! And also if you could do a make up tutorial of the smoky eye look for your eye shape that would be amazing!!! Love your realness within an industry filled with such facade. Thank you!

  33. Aimee, micellar water is really bad for your skin to use on daily basis or at all – it is basically a wash detergent (if you check the ingredients you’ll find sodium sulfates there /SLS, SLES/) and it was primarily develop to remove makeup in inconvenient circumstances /develop by fashion show make-up artists where there was no running water in hand/ and other than travelling or on air-planes and one-in-a-time situations you should not use it on your face; if you do always wash your face afterwards to clean it from this “soap” like detergents that disrupts the fine face protective layers so important for cells renewal.

  34. I love your videos about fashion week so much, everytime I watch one I sob about how happy I am for you to be there and how I wish I was there too, please live it up since some of us are irrelevant and stuck in places where no ones really into fashion!! thank you so much for producing such great comment and giving me a view of what it’s like to be at nyfw :,) It’s really inspiring

  35. you should read “How Not To Die” It’s an amazing book talking about health and its all scientifically proven. Very easy to read. You should try to Keihls midnight oil and dark spot oil. They are amazing products!

  36. OMG it has been a while since I have been watching one of these types of videos! I am in detox mode so I just put aloe vera on my face to get rid of my breakouts! but I cannot wait to look for some skin goodies and I did not know about Ole Henriksen and if Aimee use it it should be good right??? hihihihih

  37. Try physiogel for your ezcema patches. No more steroid please. Amy don’t play with your youthful face. Use jojoba oil for your lashes. Castor oil didn’t work for me. I have ezcema like you.

  38. Hey Aimee, I recommend the book “The nightingale”. It’s super interesting, and is one of the books that stays on your mind even after a long time. πŸ™‚

  39. Since I also suffer from eczema I would love to see a My skin story video where you share both the physical and emotional aspect of having a skin problem like that. For me it’s the thing that has most affected my self esteem and worth. I also use the Avene XeraCalm, it’s awesome and La Roche Posay Toleraine Ultra Fluide is a great moisturizer too. Xx

  40. HI AIMEE! I am so amazed by these youtube videos, I just moved to New York and they are literally god sent. My blog is about a month old now and I was wondering, when you started your blog did you dedicate all your time to it? Or were you working at the same time as blogging? I want to get a job but I really want my blog to become a career. Thank you !

  41. Book Recommendation: I just finished reading a trilogy from Pierce Brown, called Red Rising, and it was such a great quick read. Not sure if you’re into sci-fi but if you liked the Hunger Games you’ll enjoy these too.
P.S. Love how dedicated you are to your skincare routine! 10 steps at 2 AM is impressive! Next time you’re feeling extra dry try an overnight leave-on moisture mask (ultimately any creamy moisturizing mask can be left on overnight). You’ll wake up with the most hydrated skin!! Thanks for the video! ❀️

  42. Thank you Aimee! Loved the screen shots of the products. So helpful! I always find when watching YTubers they show the product so fast or don’t put item links in description box that im pausing and trying to take a close up that I give up…

  43. I used Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil for a year and half for evening makeup removal and left a little bit on when I went to bed. My skin was the best its ever been my whole life. This year since I ran out I went back to my normal routine of regular oils and moisturizers and it never worked as well. Back to the coconut oil when I run out of my current product

  44. Estheticians say that we don’t have pores on the eye area. I was shocked when i saw you putting clay mask pretty close to your eyes πŸ‘€

  45. ok.. I am really trying here to get into good routines here but those are like a ton of products! is it really necessary to use that many stuff?? I can only imagine all the built up in my face and the feeling of washing it again after putting all of that lol! Can someone please recommend me a basic routine and letting me know what products I can’t go without? (once someone told me that i could never go without moisturizing)
I know this is aimee routine and that depends on your skin type but is confusing to find info because it seems everybody has their own insights . Would appreciate the help.
PD> Aimee you are my favourite youtuber ever! I really look forward to your videos so much! I have my aimee song sunday watching your videos and checking your instagram love it soo much!! Please keep posting regularly !! πŸ˜€

  46. You r very nice and fun to watch. Would u pls add in the description or mention in the video which products are vegan, is an important factor, i would really appreciate it, only if u can/want, thank you! blessings! <3
